Our meetings at the Mount
Ommaney Library are always
enjoyable and lively.  And the
suppers are great!!
CDEA conducts quarterly meetings which are open to the public, and which are held at the Mount Ommaney Library meeting room.  At these meetings, guest speakers present interesting talks on a wide range of environmental matters.

Our first meeting for 2010 was held on Thursday 25 February.  In a very informative meeting, David Stephen, the Chairman of FAIR GO, spoke on the topic "When is a koala not a koala?  When it lives in the Scenic Rim."  Concern about the future of koalas throughout SEQ has hit the spotlight in recent years with dire predictions aring from dramatically falling populations.  To learn more about this important topic  View the Notice of Meeting.
